Exerpeutic 2000 WorkFit High-Capacity Work and Fitness Desk Station Treadmill

I have owned this Exerpeutic 2000 WorkFit High Capacity Desk Station Treadmill since June 28, 2014. This is the only desk that I've seen that offers such huge desk space and inclining ability. (plus incline adds a lot of inches) Since working and walking can be distracting (especially when multitasking phone & computer), I usually walk no faster than #2, but if you add the incline you burn a lot more calories and can walk at a slow steady pace.
The Exerpeutic “Model 2000 WorkFit High Capacity Desk Station Treadmill” is the low-price and low-quality leader in the treadmill desk field.
And the desk space really is large: I have a 15" laptop, 24" 2nd flat screen on a box behind laptop, Ipad w/ speaker mount, charger & Iphone, and a large Canon laser printer/copier/scanner all up on the desk. There are still unused spaces on the desk in the back.
  • Extra long safety handles are 18-Inch long, more than 2 X the length of other typical treadmill handles.
  • Tested up to 400-Pounds of user weight, built on a heavy duty reinforced frame.
  • Power Incline adjustment range from 0 Percent to 15 Percent
  • Desk Top size is 4-Feet (48-Inch) L x 2-Feet (24-Inch) W at the widest sections
  • Please note the distance from the treadmill belt to the desk top is 4-Feet
I bought this item for my husband. I had it delivered to my husbands office. I only walk on the treadmill about 60 minutes to 3 hour per day. The desk is great so I can stand when I'm working (even if the treadmill is off). Working on the treadmill at least four hours a day I really wanted a combo treadmill/standing desk but didn't want to spend over $1000.

If you work at home IMO this machine might just add a few years to your life and boost your productivity. Sure, it's not whisper quiet (some reviewers complained about the noise), but what treadmill is? It's at least as quiet, or quieter, than the treadmills at my gym, and the incline feature is something that none of the other treadmill desks offered, which is quite a bonus, since you can walk at a low enought speed to talk on the phone without gasping, or write/type with ease, and still boost your heart rate and work your leg muscles.

I do agree with some of the other reviewers about the size of the Exerpeutic 2000 Desk Station Treadmill (a bit narrower and shorter would be fine), and it is a bit too high for me, but for the price, it works just fine. I have my laptop, phone, i pad, cell phone, legal pads, and files all on it at the same time with room to spare. It's great to roll through 50 emails in the morning while exercising instead of sitting in a fog at a desk.

Great product for a great value-- Exerpeutic-- thanks so much. My husband says it is easy to use and I am sure he enjoys it. He plays old movies on his iPad while he walks.
